DFM (Dynamic Fibre Moulding) is situated in Mandeni, an industrialised area in the heart of Zululand on KwaZulu-Natal’s North Coast. The company was established in November / December 1993 and started trading in August 1994 and is the result of an entrepreneur’s vision and an increased demand for moulded fibre products.

The culmination of years of hard work developing products, a commitment to quality and service and the determination of staff and shareholders has established DFM as a leader in the moulded fibre industry.

DFM offer the widest range of egg packaging available in South Africa and supplies more than 90% of the formal egg producers in South Africa. Innovative design and a quest to improve quality has resulted in the development of new thermoforming machinery which produces smooth moulded engineered forms for superior cushion packaging which rivals existing polystyrene used today.

Dynamic Fibre Moulding started operations in 1994 in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal, and in a few years has become the preferred supplier of moulded fibre egg packaging in South Africa. The company has taken the lead in development and now supplies the widest range of egg packaging in the country.

Dynamic vision and enthusiasm for their product has driven the success of the company, resulting in the new technology of thermoforming natural fibre into precision, smooth moulded engineered forms for cushion and locative packaging. This rivals the existing polystyrene and plastic forms used today, with the added benefit that these elements are manufactured from recycled material and is genuinely biodegradable and recyclable.
