Increasing environmental awareness amongst consumers has led to growing concern regarding the impact that consumer product packaging, which has been disposed of, will have on the environment of an area.

Public pressure leads directly to increased political pressure on industry. When choosing packaging industry has to become more environmentally conscious and in response packaging manufacturers have started to fulfil these demands.

Moulded Fibre is the leading packaging material for eggs, fruit, meat and vegetables as well as protective cushion packaging for electronic goods, cell phones and house hold wares in European countries and its popularity is growing.

Due to its natural composition Moulded Fibre is completely biodegradable, can be recycled and if it is left to decompose it will compost naturally, just like any other type of wood.

As nothing is added to the natural fibre during any of these processes apart from heat, (and in cases pressure) it reverts to inert pulp when mixed with water, thereby able to be easily recycled.

Natural fibre reverts eventually to individual cellulose (natural) fibre when wet (with rain) in solid waste dumps forming natural biodegradeable residue.

ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS:
It is made of recycled material
It is biodegradable
It is environmentally friendly
It is totally recyclable
